Squalane is a lipid that helps to lubricate and protect the skin, keeping it soft, smooth, and hydrated. Squalane is the hydrogenated form of squalene, making it more stable and less prone to oxidation.

Here are some of the key benefits of squalane oil for the skin:

Intense Hydration: Squalane is highly emollient and has excellent moisturizing properties. It forms a protective barrier on the skin's surface, helping to prevent moisture loss and keeping the skin hydrated and supple. Squalane is suitable for all skin types, including dry, oily, and sensitive skin.
Non-Comedogenic: Squalane is non-comedogenic, meaning it is unlikely to clog pores or cause acne. This makes it an ideal moisturizer for acne-prone skin, as it provides lightweight hydration without exacerbating breakouts.
Skin Barrier Support: Squalane helps to strengthen the skin's natural barrier function, which is essential for maintaining healthy, resilient skin. By reinforcing the skin barrier, squalane helps to protect against environmental stressors, pollutants, and irritants, reducing the risk of sensitivity and inflammation.
Anti-Aging Properties: Squalane has antioxidant properties that help to neutralize free radicals and protect the skin from oxidative stress. This can help to reduce the signs of aging, such as fine lines, wrinkles, and age spots, and promote a more youthful, radiant complexion.
Soothing and Calming: Squalane has soothing and anti-inflammatory properties, making it beneficial for calming irritated or sensitive skin. It can help to reduce redness, inflammation, and discomfort, making it suitable for conditions like eczema, psoriasis, and rosacea.
Versatility: Squalane oil is lightweight, non-greasy, and easily absorbed by the skin, making it suitable for use on the face, body, and even hair. It can be used on its own as a standalone moisturizer or mixed with other skincare products to enhance their efficacy and spreadability.
